Hello everyone!
The temperature in Los Angeles has been rather finicky lately with the rain storms and extreme heat! Either way, I try to stay in the shade or indoors to avoid all the dry heat from Los Angeles. I hope everyone is hydrating themselves!
Today’s heat is similar to Jen & Sam’s wedding at the amazing W Hotel in Hollywood (Los Angeles)! It was quite an experience to be one of the first wedding photographers to be able to photograph at W Hotel in Hollywood (Los Angeles). Jen and Sam each prepared themselves for the wedding at separate locations; Jen and the ladies to the suite at W Hotel (Hollywood) and Sam at their sweet pad nearby in Los Angeles. Since we were one of the first wedding photographers to break W Hotel (Hollywood) in, we had to set the benchmark for other wedding photographers! For this wedding, Wilson , Geoff , and I put on our A-Game and let the creative juices flow onto each of our wedding photographs!
Before starting our sweet wedding entry about Jen and Sam’s wedding at W Hotel (Hollywood), here is a brief description about the W Hotel (Hollywood) itself. From the driveway to the lobby, everything at W Hotel was creative designed and the color selections from each room were tastefully done! Every location of W Hotel was a perfect setting for any backdrop, especially for wedding photography sessions. The driveway at W Hotel (Hollywood) had lights string across to create an entire roof, so how impressive was that! Once we step foot into W Hotel, we were welcomed with red carpets and all. After we explored the lobby and patio of W Hotel (Los Angeles), we found all the locations we needed for Jen and Sam’s wedding photography session.

Our crew started our photo session at Jen’s suite with the ladies. While they all relaxed and enjoyed getting pampered, we took some beautiful wedding details from the wedding dress to their Ferragamo wedding shoes. To be a bit more creative, I actually climbed up a wall for Jen’s wedding dress. For a wedding dress like that and at W Hotel (Hollywood), it deserves to have a photograph creatively done.
We snagged one of Jen’s bags for this cute wedding ring picture!

Once both sides of the wedding party were dressed and pressed, we took the wedding party around W Hotel (Hollywood) for some their fun wedding photography session around not only W Hotel, but around the streets of Hollywood (Los Angeles). For these series of wedding photographs, we used remote lighting to create a more dramatic affect and contrast for each wedding picture.
After we had our fill of wedding photos at W Hotel (Hollywood), we continued our wedding photography session on Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles!
We ran into a friendly cop who was willing to take a quick photo with Jen then she can remember this as part of her wedding!
After their wedding photography session, Jen and Sam took a few moments to recover and went straight to their wedding ceremony!
Since they were from USC, they just had to gave an ice luge in a figure of the Trojan. Although I am a Bruin for life, this luge was actually pretty neat!
Check out the details of the wedding reception hall! Every wedding table was intricately designed and set up with utmost care.
That wedding cake was DELICIOUS!

After Jen and Sam visited each table to greet their wedding guests, they cut the cake and partied the rest of the night!
